Cafe Casa Leone
Casa Leone is an Italian café and gelato shop in Moscow's Kitai-Gorod district,
a short walk from the city attractions like the Red Square and the Zaryadye park. Opened in 2014 it has quickly gained fame as the major city spot for gelato fans.
Manual production, fresh natural ingredients, an impressive variety of flavours, both seasonal and classical, made Casa Leone a top attraction for local sweet tooths.
In 2017 following the requests of our regulars (who insisted on having a warm healthy meal in cold weather along with gelato) we learned from Italian chefs in Siena
and Rome to develop a full main dishes menu. Now the cafe offers a range of Italian pizza, pasta, salads, antipasti, soups and risotto to feast upon. Renowned for
its relaxed atmosphere and delicious food Casa Leone is one of the most popular downtown cafés, frequented by celebs and highlighted by TripAdvisor.
Gelato artigianale is a natural dessert that has been originally created in Italy,
but now is enjoyed and loved worldwide. Gelato is made daily by hand in small batches to ensure quality and genuine flavours. Fresh milk, cream and seasonal
fruits, berries, vegetables, herbs, spices, nuts, chocolate, cheese, wine and other ingredients are used in mouthwatering combinations specified by maestro’s
Gelato contains 7% butterfat and 15% air providing a dense, delicate structure without ice chips. No food coloring, artificial insence or vegetable oil are
added to the dish. Gelato artigianale retains all vitamins and micronutrients, it is easily digestible and serves as a healthy dainty for toddlers,
nursing mothers, organic food lovers and vegetarians.
